Happy Apple's Farm is cared for by us, Brent and Patti Ragsdale. Founded in 2015, the farm is named in memory of the late Vivian Ragsdale (the original Happy Apple) and it's dedicated to engaging people of all ages in exploring and learning about the natural world.
We grow and sell plants that are native to North America and naturally adapted to our region. The gardens around our home display most of the native plants we grow to help our customers understand how these beautiful plants perform in home landscapes.
We have seven alpacas who graze our small prairie pasture. We use their amazingly soft fiber to create yarn, roving and felt. They also give us awesome material for our compost. But the best thing about them is definitely their personality.
